RESERVED #ICanBoogie chapter 3: A RENDEZ-VOUS
The third chapter of the “I Can Boogie” autumn campaign is a very sensual finale that closes the series of films directed for Reserved by Gordon von Steiner. “A randez-vous” slows down the pace to give way to a completely new interpretation of the theme song. This time, it is one of the stars of the campaign - Joanna Kulig - who sings the “Boogie” song. She is accompanied only by the piano in an ambient, jazz arrangement. As in the previous chapters, this part also features Jeanne Damas, the French “it girl”.
“A rendez-vous” is a collection of impressions on the verge of dream and reality, it shows a power struggle between the lead characters, reminiscent of a 1930s tango. The romantic and sensual version of “I Can Boogie” is the setting for an interplay of glances, gestures and understatement between the female stars. Who leads and who follows? What is the message? A contemporary woman can choose her role, both in dance and in life. In the film, Jeanne Damas and Joanna Kulig are strongly contrasted, one of them is wearing a black wrap dress, the other one - an oversize shirt, as if taken straight out of the men’s wardrobe.
“An infinite number of definitions of femininity is the starting point of the whole campaign. Whether in a dress with accentuated waist and neckline, or in a loose man’s shirt - a woman remains herself. She will always be who she wants to be, clothes can help her express it”, says Monika Kapłan, Global Marketing Director of Reserved, summing up the autumn campaign. Hence the division into three parts, each devoted to a different vision of femininity, in a completely different mood, which in the end form a coherent whole, emphasizing the fact that Reserved designs fashion without any valuation of its recipients. The sensual dance of refined heroines captured in the scenery of an elegant music club announces the new Reserved Premium capsule collection. Black and white, a lot of borrowings from the men’s wardrobe, timeless classics and the unbeatable feminine factor.
The Premium collection works on contrasts, forces of attraction and repulsion. It is focused on quality, providing the best base elements which can serve as essentials in many wardrobes for a very long time.
