Tips for watch care »
The summer season is coming already which means not only swimming in different waters, but also possible problems for your watch! „LAIKRODŽIŲ CENTRAS“ would like to remind you that, as with all measuring devices, the watch must be maintained regularly to ensure that it works perfectly.
Some of the most important care tips for watches:
✔ Follow the recommendation to replace the sealing gaskets every two years.
✔ Do not swim with bracelets that are not marked with the WR mark.
✔ Every year before the start of the swimming season it is necessary to check the watch gaskets for all waterproof watches (WR, WR 3 ATM, WR 5 ATM and so on), because you may not have noticed that they were damaged by accidental hits. If, for any reason, the case has to be opened, the gasket for crystal and the inner gasket for the case, as well as the crown and / or buttons, must be checked and replaced if necessary.
✔ If you have a watch suitable for swimming and you swam in salt water, always rinse it with fresh water after the swimming.
✔ Clean the metal bracelet and waterproof case with soap water using a toothbrush, then dry with a soft cotton or microfiber cloth. Avoid direct contact with solvents, cleaners, perfumes, cosmetics and similar chemically active substances that could damage the bracelet / strap, case or gaskets.
✔ Do not adjust the chronograph buttons underwater, as moisture can seriously damage the movement.
If you'd like your watch to be inspected by our qualified repairman and you purchased your watch at „LAIKRODŽIŲ CENTRAS“, bring it along with the documents such as an international warranty card / booklet and a warranty leaflet issued by „LAIKRODŽIŲ CENTRAS“ to the brick-and-mortar store. Inspection is free. Warranty repairs are free of charge, unless the defect specified does not meet the warranty conditions.
In July, warranty repairs and diagnostic inspections are not performed. Sorry for the inconvenience.
